Intimate backyard wedding in Edmonton, AB

I don’t even know where to start with this one because I loved absolutely everything about this intimate wedding. Kaylee & Stu finally got to tie the knot this past summer after having to delay their plans due to the pandemic. I met these two through mutual friends a few years back and was so excited when they asked me to document their day for them. Kaylee and Stu are two of the most kind and patient people I have ever met. They have a house full of rescue/foster dogs and when Kaylee told me the dogs were going to be part of the wedding party I just about died. They opted for a golden hour ceremony and spent the evening surrounded by their closest friends and family. Kaylee is an avid gardener and utilized fresh flowers from her garden for decor. I met up with them the following day so that we could snap a few more images of just the two of them.

We met at one of my favorite locations here in Edmonton which has one of the best views in town. We have been getting hit with lots of smoke from the wildfires in BC which is not so nice but, on the right day it makes this spot look like it could be somewhere in Europe so that’s pretty cool.

Picking photos for this post was not easy and if I could have shared them all I would have. I managed to have some self-control though so checkout these super sweet moments from their day and, if you plan on having your dogs in your wedding party please message me because I want need to be there.
